RBS CHIEF STEPHEN HESTER OFFERED £963,000 THAT’S £40 QUID SHORT OF A MILLION POUNDS AS A BONUS

RBS have offered the tax payers money to Stephen Hester on top of Mr Hester's £1.2m salary.

RBS is 82%-owned by UK taxpayer.

So let’s see if the Masked Writer has got this right.

RBS the Royal Bank of Scotland which is 82%-owned by UK taxpayer is offering almost a million pounds of our money to a boss who is already on over a million pounds a year.

A boss of a public company who laid off over thirty thousand employees so that he could get their wages paid as his bonus.

On what planet does this sound right, okay it may be legally okay but morally the compass is broken here.

Firstly who on this planet should be being paid a million pounds when all the real people are losing their jobs taking pay cuts ?

A million is 30 thousand people's wages here folks.

So it looks like Stephen has taken the livelihoods of thirty thousand people away so he can have there wages for stuff like two or three bottles of posh champers over Christmas a holiday,O holidays those were the days or a weeks worth of fuel for his not 13 year old car. ( Says an old car driver LOL )

Why should we be surprised, the bankers and the business community do not think anything has changed they are just carrying on as usual, no difference no cost no cause and no effect.

I still see new cars on the road, though round here they are more likely to be lost or stolen LOL but some people like bankers can afford to swap there 3 to 5 year old porch in for a new one.

O I do not think Stephen will snatch the bonus now its in the news, I bet he is stunned at the planets response but his circle of fellow bosses will pat him on the back tell him it's all good and he will turn it down so he looks good then he will get it later in some other way.

COMMONSENSE + GANG + GUN = SURVIVAL.. SUCH A SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS BUT TRUE OF TODAY’S SOCIETY

Two people equally matched can fight and the outcome is not always inevitable

But change the dimensions and the odds come into play

For instance, two people fighting, one has a knife, now the odds are skewed in favour of the knife welder.

Take two people no knifes against one person no knife and the odds now favour the team of two.

Take two people un trained in the ways of fighting and have them attacking one person who has some skill in let’s say army police or martial arts training and on this biases the odds have been balanced.

But at the end of the day if a person or persons have their mind set on doing you harm the odds are stacked in their favour and this is because you are defending and so your mental and physical options are limited.

When defending your position has already been compromised, whereas the attacker has no limitations and has every option from damage to kill in their arsenal.

Also the body has an extreme tire rate, no human can keep fighting forever and so the greater the number of attackers all striking and doing damage to you will only serve to bring this time down even tighter.

So in conclusion I have come to the decision that if a person is to survive in such an environment that the only option is to carry a gun.

However even in this conclusion the odds and the math game takes over as one person with a gun according to the game of odds should now have the game table set in their favour as a non skilled gun carrying person can shoot a skilled knife fighter from a distance even before the trained killer has an opportunity to open there particular can of whoop ass on the gun toting-person.

My martial teacher Corry was a champion kick boxer and a fantastic human being whom had dedicated himself to the betterment of the odds of survival of the single person specialising in the lone women traveller when he himself was knifed to death on the London underground.

Himself out numbered and over powered and this for all my training showed me that skill alone is no match for numbers and weapons.

This also lead me to understand the origins and in fact the need for a gang and gang culture, not for the gang banging that some gangs misuse by out balancing of the odds and numbers for in there favour.

But purely for survival, it is why I think neolithic human gangs turned into communes which grew into towns and then city’s who will then believing themselves to be the bigger in size would then feel confident to attack another settlement.

It’s all just one on one taken to another level however then the game changes to where you have the numbers but your numbers once again depends on one who can organise the attack .

A bit like a giant body with thousands of people now acting as the limbs and the few acting as the brain and commanding the limbs.

Why humans feel a need to be on top is a basic instinct, I can understand now that it’s only the fear that if you do not attack you will be attacked that people leaders use to there advantage when trying to get there people to fight for there own causes and personal issues.

A perfect example of this is reflected in the nation state that is Israel today.

I have no issues with Israel sept to say that I worry that they fear that everyone has issues with them so they have grown super defensive to the point to where they are now becoming seen as an aggressor.

This I fear may activate and trigger exactly what the Israeli people fear but the leaders want, a supremacy conflict they may in fact be starting what they say they are trying to stop,.
.
This saddens me as I can see that no one has that sort of hatred in them sept a few leaders who want to control the masses.

If the people said no enough is enough then I would like to think that human kindness would win the day, however once again I can see that humans are still so far from this.
.
So very far and it saddens me that a hand full of leaders can and will march their people once again into the field of human conflict and once again put there own people in harms way for a handful of leaders and there personal wants and whims.

But that is just one example and this is growing from the west’s example of the new preemptive strikes which is another very sad state of affairs and something that has happened and something the west cannot say did not happen nor can the west say they were just following orders.

But back to my main point, I can see where the one leads to the two then the group and into a gang that grows into a town which then morphs into a city, but hold the press as then something even stranger starts to happen.

It just takes one again who feels a disconnection with the gang leaders then they themselves like a cancer start the one growing into two for defence and security all over again snowballing into a new gang.

This has been recognised as a potential problem by governments and managed in some way by the introduction of huge group cluster management.

These clubs groups and sports allow humans to exercise and feed that need for a group activity and some base instinct for winning something, while keeping that core primitive base instincts to attack somewhat feed but almost like on veggie food as opposed to the blood it is only a punch and a kick away from and craves.

FOR EXAMPLE BOXING IS STILL ALLOWED AS IT FEEDS A PRIMITIVE BASE HUMAN WANT.

Boxing is a total primitive activity that is billed as entertainment but at the cost of human dignity as one human beets on another for points and profit.

Humans will bet on another human beating on another, others will watch and many more will cheer, yes even in today's society humans men and woman alike will not only watch but even cheer one human on as he or she beets on a fellow member of there own race .
.
This is a classic example of group association as it feels alright to do this as you are in the company of other humans who can freely express there own inner desire to watch this barbaric behaviour.

This space also allows for cheering and even scoring as the two strike one another hitting their fellow human in the face and body until one or the other submits to the damage sustained.

Shocking but true I assure you....I would not advise researching this as you will only find the very activity and footage that I am advocating should not be viewed.

I take from my new understandings about human behaviour partly from standing my ground as a child all through and up until I left school for defending my father’s cult Jehovah’s Witness beliefs, this did not always end pretty.

And from my time in a security force where I was invariably outnumbered and only survived on a number of occasion by the uniform I was wearing.
.
I know how weird is it that some humans still even in this day and age will result to the use of physical violence as an option to conflict resolution.

Luckily for me the majority of humans seem to respect a recognisable uniform and this I can only attribute to a series of historical events that have shaped the thought DNA and instincts of every new generation that come along.

And so to my new enlightened understanding

Never start something that has the potential of violence unless you are positive the outcome, will end in your favour, which one never is so never start something.

If trouble comes to you in the first attempt try to use humour to disarm and defuse the situation.

Secondly if humour does not work always have an exit strategy, if the exit strategy does not work face the trouble head on or it will only find you later and it may bring friends.

And thirdly and lastly, in order to protect your family always remember never give up never surrender and never ever let your attacker walk away, they will only get up and shoot you in the back.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the masked writer would advocate close group association as a form and recipe for survival as there is security in numbers.

The police are now a business and not there for what we may think they are supposed to be there for, it's not the police per say as much as it's the new management but either way it's a brave new world out here.

The new police service has been turned into a for profit organisation the police do the police work and the new administration platform depends on fines points and more fines as apposed to long custodial sentencing.

So as such it's the new administration police platform that cannot be relied on to serve and protect, its down to us and it saddens me to think this way.

So unless we all got ourselves into a safe group network we are vonroble.

Presidents have their people they surround themselves with, Prime Ministers have their people they surround themselves with, sports groups have there people they surround themselves with, it’s all about safety security and safety in association and numbers.

The Masked Writer is stuffed, I am in a circle of one, I fight to defend my family, I have no group I am not affiliated to any association I am a lone knight standing in a sea of un tranquillity taking on all that would bill fine fight or do me and mine harm.

I cannot fight forever and I will fall but when I do I can say I stood for peace and fought for love.

That statement is a contradiction in terms and I do hope that at some point in the future people will be able to say they could sit down with peace loving friends and not fight for love but share with loved ones talk to loved ones and love without having to fight all the way every inch for the freedom to love and be a lover loved unconditionally.

I can see a time when unless guns are totally taken out of the system that it will be a necessity to carry one just to even the odds and this saddens me too as I know that arms manufactures would rather see killings as every gun killing needs a gun and a bullet sold is money in the bank and they would rather see money than life.

All is lost; this planet is being sucked dry of irreplaceable oils and minerals and the planet management is out of control, I would help but no one listens.

Okay time for my Sunday morning breakfast and so to make the most of a day off from work, while I dream of a job where I look forward to going to.

These jobs must exist, everyone can't not want to go to work and do the job they do.

Fun jobs I would love to do.

Work for the US administration and for President Obama in some sort of think tank, I would love to work for the UK government in the same think tank capacity and I have written to the government but had no reply.

Other than that any film TV or radio writing or even acting job would work for me, O yes any writing position, a photographer WOW I would love this, even advertising would be fun, in fact anything that involves having to think out side the box..

SHOCK HORROR MOVE AS CHINA BUYS UP GREAT BRITAIN.

China Buys Large Stake In Thames Water

The Chinese government has bought a significant stake in Britain's biggest water firm just days after George Osborne's visit to Beijing.

We have sold the lot, it seems to be this nations psyche to be lazy, if just selling the goods inside the store was not good enough we had to go and sell the store.

This is such short-termism, having the money in the bank may look good for a week or two but once the money has been spent we can’t go and get out shop back, such short-termism.

This once great land has fallen from a great height and landed in a place where we now sell off the country’s wealth creating business rather than have to manage them our selves.

We had Harrods, SOLD,

We had Hamleys SOLD

We had Cadburys, SOLD

To name just three high profile ones but the list is endless from gas through water and even our very own stock exchange the lets play footsie with your money, we sold the lot.

And if the government, any government they are all as bad as one another the days could find a way of selling off the Queen they would,

ENTRAPMENT

Police arrested the 60-year-old famous TV celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson at the Tesco store in Reading Road, Henley-on-Thames Oxfordshire for shoplifting.

The MASKED WRITER says Antony should have had The Masked Writer on his legal team and here is why.

Recipe for entrapment

Create an opportunity; Tesco’s did this by putting in self service tills

Remove physical deterrent, Tesco’s did this by removing till staff creating the I am alone here atmosphere.

Then purposely introduce a recording device knowingly having created an opportunity and making an enticements rich environment by where shoppers can easily not pay should they choose not to pay for their goods.

Tesco's now armed with the knowledge that this shopper is going to shop lift after observing him on a previous ocasion then knowingly make a very strange decision.

Tesco's not only allow this shopper to shop lift but they actively watch him and rather than sending down a manager to explain that you have this evidence and you would advice against ever shoplifting ever again Tesco's chose to go global on this guy and tell the world press.

A gentle chat and a showing of the evidence with emphasis placed on the severity of the situation and the inevitable consequence's of such an action would stop any shop lifter from stealing ever again.

Cameras operate on these tills and will record any indiscretion

A bag weighing system is in operation on self service tills and does know the weight of every item

Scan every item, if you don't it will only set the alarms off as you try to leave and then it's to late, you will have to deal with our highly efficient team of store security staff and plane close store detectives.

Information that could be used in a court of law should an arrest be made for shoplifting, posting this information would make a charge of entrapment next to imposable.

I can say this this being a Teaso's shopper myself that I have never seen any information like this.

O no Tesco's choose to let him steal and then call the police on them, this is entrapment in the first degree.

Firstly where is this Antony’s legal team, surely they should have Antony home with his feet up while his legal brief are preparing a counter suit for entrapment..

On a personal note GOD I HATE SELF SERVICE TILLS,.

There is no service on a self service tills, I worked hard for that money and I just feed it in to a machine no real people contact no fun no point in going shopping, I like to ask where the fish is and talk the cost of living to the checkout staff...

I think this is why Tesco's profits are falling they are getting rid of the friendly face of Tesco's the human contact side of it all and jobs.

No one wants to see a machine sitting in a seat where once upon a time a human being had a paying job, it's all getting very sad out here and the government have no idea with there above average wage and Holiday's and everything :-(

Why is no one filling the Costa Concordia with salvage air bags, even the hull should be being filled now to prevent loosing the ship totally...

Where is the ship rescue plan, we need to keep this ship afloat so we can rescue the people.

WASHING UP

The prep for washing up is hugely important, the pre wash rinse, the full on total clean and then the best bit of all the hot water rinse and stand to drain.
.
Try to avoid using tea towels as a tea towel is only truly effective if the object you are drying is hot and the tea towel is of a particular type of cotton.

Now we have just finished our Sunday roast and I did not cook it so as is kitchen etiquette its the non cook who does the washing up.

firstly and most important of all make sure the water going in the sink is hot, you can add cold to suit later.

Now in order to maximise the suds and cleaning ability of your washing up liquid its important to hold the washing up liquid bottle up as high as you can and ever so thinly drizzle it into the splash of the hot water tap as it fills the sink.

This is more fun than it sounds and makes washing up more adventure than chore.
.

There, my work here is done here back to the sink, many a green scrubby things have given there lives to bring you this news.

I always put cups plates and breakfast bowls face up so as to avoid the capillary action too :-)

To be honest if that's what Scotland wants I for one will be sad to see the break up of the union, but okay build the walls again shut the boarders close the gates and lock the door,.

Release all the Scottish ministers and ministerets free them to go home where at least then they can't be used to vote on cross boarder issues.

Which is funny come to think of it when Scotland tell us to back away from there referendum but they still vote on issues south of there boarders LOL they can't have it both ways LOL anyway I digress.

STONEHENGE MOVES

It must have been a slow news day for this to have hit the headlines of the UK’s national news papers.

The old stones at henge had not so much moved as where sold on to make way for a major shopping centre, as for the stones they were on their way to Vegas where they are going to be the feature entrance to the brand new Merlin casino.

Between the stones and the sports pages there were a couple of other snippets of news that caught Jacks eye over tea and toast.

Story's like the British civil war, this had been raging for three years between the devolved states of Wales Scotland the Cornwall’s Surrey Birmingham and England.

England had been accused of using its old trade mark weapon of destabilizing a government again, this time they had assassinated the welsh assembly leader David Day in an attempt to destabilize the new independent Wales.

After all the last thing Jack wanted to see than one of the newly devolved states of Independence gaining ground and influence with America over and above his state.

Dipping another toasted buttered bread finger in his runny egg and sipping his tea Jack read on.

Once again the government had announced it was going to launch its secret weapon of political choice, the public enquiry, this was in an attempt to dissolve tension over the three big news story's of the day.

Every political animal worth their weight in salt knows if you want to hide something big or small you order a public enquiry.

If it does its job well it should make the people wish that they hadn’t asked for the dam enquiry in the first place, it should if conducted properly free everyone of any blame while playing card tricks with the facts leaving the public totally confused but nodding like it came up with something important.

It’s the old smoke mirrors confusion and evasion trick, the recipe is simple, you order one investigation or public enquiry, whichever sounds best at the time, then you add a high ranking public official to chair it.

Preferably a retired judge as this adds the kudos and illusion of independence, then your objective is to dilute the situation by placing as many other people and places as one can between you and any findings, It’s also very important that the report runs for as long as possible.

Six months works but always try and shoot for the goal of three to five years, then by the time the report is eventually published those who did care can’t find anyone who remembers anything about it and those it was designed to bring to justice have either retired or have just wandered off in the haze of time and confusion.

Parliamentary business of the day, Jack Jones was not only the Prime Minister of the now tiny and ever decreasing independent state known as Poundland as the government had sold the naming rights of England to an advertising agency but Jack was also an avid blogger of all things political.

His first thought of the day was to update his beloved diary of events page which would be his first job as soon as he hit the office, it gave him something to think about on his way to work.

After his diary it’s time to roll your sleeves up and get down to burying the big stuff, the three big political hot potatoes of today where all going to have to be buried under huge public enquiry’s.

Enquiry number one, this will be ordered to investigate the established links between the use of soft satellite systems and their direct effect on global warming.

Even after everyone who knew about this was found to have taken their own lives in bizarre circumstances, like anyone actually believed the stories but hay if you ask question your next to be found dead by some strange suicidal self eliminating method that will leave the best forensic teams scratching their heads forever.

There was also the possibility that you could get lucky and get given the simple road accident treatment ,no one questions a crash but somehow this cleanup operation went wonky and evidence has been leaked .

This was a bit of a mess as this evidence shows that the digital signal used in mobile phones y-fi sat nave systems and satellite TV’s is firing signals like bullets through the earth’s protective canopy thinning it causing the global warming as the protective canopy is thinned and destroying.

Enquiry numbers two, this is going to be an interesting one, this one’s all about the terrorist’s war off the last fifteen years between the colour groups.

A new government security agency was used to cover a peace meeting between the three major terrorist organizations, the results make fascinating reading but they also produce shocking evidence that showed that far from bringing terror to an end it was the reverse and the governments involved had prolonged it.

The new agency produced video recordings that showed that all ten of the terrorist leaders at the big terrorist meeting where all undercover operatives from different inelegance agencies.

The big shock news is that the terrorist campaign of fifteen years could have actually fizzled out over fourteen years ago, but thanks to six major inelegance agency’s infiltrating the colour groups they were all now completely run by different government departments and all bar none were inelegance lead.

So far from dismantled them they had In fact perpetuated and escalated the whole situation. Causing and compounding the local people’s problems for the last fourteen years.

Jack knew that these two story’s though interesting to him where not even going to register with the public who had other things on their minds, like the weekends big money prize double roll over prize draw.

But as for story number three, well that was going to take a little more doing to fix and doing was something Jack was good at, well doing and juggling three digestive biscuit's while taking a bite out of each until they were totally gone.

FOR GOD’S SOMEBODY SACK STANDARD AND POURS THE EUROPEAN CREDIT RATING SECRET AGENCY BEFORE THEY DO ANY MORE DAMAGE...

If you have nothing nice to say nothing at all, and standard and pours do not manufacture anything but pain, their very existence seems to be to cost country’s money in an already troubled economy.

I understand constructive criticism but then get a bill for it is insane.

If standard and pours just shut up then those country’s they are dissing could get on and not have to pay even more for the money they are borrowing to stay alive.

So why I ask myself would anyone even listen to some folk in an office whose only job seems to be to bring the planet down ?

Why is anyone listening to them ?

Why and in fact who is paying them ?

Did anyone appoint them or are they self appointed ?

Why does the world just not choose to ignore them and fire there asses and stop employing people whose only existence is to meter out bad news pain and cost ?

It says so much about the negative management style which seems to be they way this country is run these days, all stick and zero carrot, all very suspension pending an inquire and escorted off site and don't come back.

O yes I almost forgot to mention, that seems to only apply to the air side staff as soon as you go suit side the whole game changes into delete tippex and deny LOL.

We need someone with a different approach for P M and I just so happen to be available okay I need to hand in a weeks notice at my place but to be honest they do not even know I am there .

My philosophy is if the boss knows your name your doing something very wrong LOL, dig deep hide well and do nothing wrong and hopefully you will see another Christmas, as soon as the boss knows your name it will get used and in my experience it has never ended well for me as carrying the can is not what I was put on this planet for LOL

BRITISH GUY TO BE EXTRADITED TO THE USA FOR RUNNING A SEARCH ENGINE

Look, GOOGLE do the same thing, they direct traffic but is anyone taking Google to court ? NO

My local council put up road signs to towns and villages, now you can bet your bottom dollar that someone in those towns and villages are up to no good while some may be selling drugs and others selling sex but is the USA asking to extradite those councils for directing traffic to a place where you can do illegal stuff ? Okay so this is a guy who rides a push bike and not only makes money out of riding a push bike he has also been known to make even more money to ride a strange hybrid bike on an indoor track.

I know for money, ! How weird is that ?

I could do that but I don't know any one who would offer me money to do that LOL, but he does and that's even cooler, I wish I knew people who would pay me to ride my bike LOL, hay the Masked Writer is always open to offers LOL.

Hay when I was a youte of today LOL I rode a bike for a cycle club and I was fast, dam fast I did London to Southend in record breaking time and was the pace setter for many a trip but I never ever knew that you could earn a living at it and if I have of been told this I would have made a career at it too so good on the lad.

Anyway I digress, so cycling is a non aggressive non violent polite Sunday pastime, where as the arguments over whether or not the Queen should have given a gong to a boxer is still rumbling on.

Look it aint rocket science, so the cyclist got an honour for pushing pedals around and doing this faster than others going in the same direction as himself and doing the same pedal pushing thing, as opposed to a person that beets another parson into submission by using punching to the head face and body.

There was a time when this extraordinarily barbaric behaviour was tolerated, but so was fox hunting back in the day but surely in these days of health and safety this sort of behaviour must now have a line drawn under it just as fox hunting has.

I understand that there are humans out there living in a different world to the rest of us that still have those prehistoric genes pulling towards the the hunting down of a life creature to death or the bashing of another person in the face and body until that other human being submits for fear of death as there default settings.

But hopefully given time this will fade away, though I understand things like this never fully go away they just get over written and do re surface in times of stress trouble criminality or the offer of money to be watched doing it arises.

Now, I am all for a gong for boxing as soon as it moves into this century, but first it needs to brought up to date and to do that it has to fill a few long over due requirements.

Firstly boxing has to become a total NON contact activity, just like I think the whole non contact thing should also apply to Rugby British football American football Judo karate kung foo Jujitsu wuu shu kwan and slaps.

Look I sort of know what I am talking about LOL, you see I played football for the company I worked for Bridgewalk Builders Merchants and my nick name was BOOTS, LOL...
.
No one got in the way of my boots if they had a ball attached to them LOL, that was until the Islington Angles played us into the ground LOL I never played again after that match never recovered from the fight and the defeat LOL
.
But my problem was that if you tugged my shirt or bumped into me it was SOD THE BALL and I am on you and will bring you down, I would even go so far to say that guns should be allowed into football so if you have your shirt tugged you are withing your rights to SHOOT that person LOL that's how bad I was with my football.
.
So I want to see aggression controlled or other wise taken out of sport entirely, I want to see races where everyone who finishes has there name put in a hat that that decides who wins the race.

Secondly there should be more use made of 3 D opponents and virtual rings.

Thirdly shadow boxing could be used as a fix for the addicts who feel a need to watch humans fighting one another..
.

No more should two human beings be paid money to be watch while the beet the poo out of each other nor should any humans be allowed to strike one another in the name of sport or entertainment ?

And if the only way to prevent this is to have virtual opponents then this should be the way forward.

Goodness me if you are a God fearing person what do you think your God would say to you about paying your own species money to fight one of your Gods own creations ?

Me I don't believe in God but if I think it weird and strange and I am a mere human I dread to think what a Creator would think LOL.

But still that's up to the believers to argue there case for letting this happen and paying for the privilege when you get to your individual God gate.

DEATH AND LIVING FOREVER

I have reached a new understanding on my worries about my death and my want to live forever.

Death first LOL to be honest death scares the pants off me, I don’t want to die but I know its coming and this is a thought that when it hits me it hits me hard and just as I am about to slip into sleep and just enough to bring me up short of breath LOL.

Then I got to thinking, okay I will be missed for about a week or so and that’s if I am lucky, but to be honest who thinks about Sir Walter Raleigh or William the conqueror every day and even if you did it is not doing them any good LOL.

So my new understanding about death is that it’s dam finial, no coming back and no nothing no ghost no heaven and no hell its final the big full stop the big end kaput wallop gone.

So then I thought about what if I was living forever and then another epiphany hit me, if I had been here ten thousand years all I would be doing is going down the pub to have a drink talk about the state of the economy and who scored the best goal in last night’s match.

I would not be doing anything different to everyone else but all I would have is a lot more nostalgia to talk about and stories to tell down the pub.

So what would be the benefit of living forever ? except to see loved ones grow marry have children and watch them grow up go down the pub and talk about the good old days.

Just imagine if Jesus had of lived forever, he too would be down the pub saying.

“Don’t talk to me about Satan, O and did I tell you the one about? " to a rabble rousing ..

" O MY GOD HE'S OFF AGAIN, YES YOU HAVE ALREADY NOW SHUT UP AND IT'S YOUR ROUND"

Okay he may drive a truck for a living and have bills like everyone else, he would be talking about the price of fuel the cost of water gas and electricity and worrying about his car insurance, as there is no real term acceleration in living standards for longevity.

Okay there can be an accumulation of wealth in monetary terms and knowledge but that’s allowing for some huge improvements on the human ability to retain the memory’s LOL

Personally I can’t remember everything so in a way living forever is just like us living right here right now in the moment.

I also got to wondering how amazing it would be to sit down with a person let’s say Solomon, you know the Biblical guy who was attributed with little extra handle on common sense.

Let’s say you had an opportunity to sit down and have a chat with him, I am sure it would start of all exciting but by the end of the week you would both be sitting there hoping the other doesn’t speak as you have just about had enough of it.

A bit like finding a long lost friend on facebook, you can’t stop chatting for a week then it sort of goes a bit quite then the excuses for not writing then silent pauses then long gaps until you log on one evening only to find yourself de friended LOL

So what’s the point of it all, well I think I have the answer...

It’s just to make do, have a good time but not at another’s expense, experience everything hurt no one and be a good human being, simple as.

As much as I want to live forever there is already a day with my name on it and I am not rushing to meet it, but I know it's coming to find me LOL.

But if there is one thing that does slay me it’s this.

I was there when my daughters were born, not just there but right there holding my wife’s hand working the gas and air and seeing them both born.

Beautiful amazing and created from a bizarre mixture of want love and passion, yes both my daughters were planned needed and wanted and herein lies my pain.

I was there at day 1 moment dot even before the clock started to tick for them, holding their tiny hands and being there for every knock bump and scrape but the irony is I will cause them pain when I die and I cannot be there to help them through it.

This is my pain, I will eventually cause them hurt and after a lifetime of trying to circumnavigate every hurt pain discomfort and disaster, I will be the one to cause them to shed a tear.

So I must live forever and so must they, that is my circle of life, now I just need to get on and invent a way to do it LOL..

RIVAL CLERICS BEAT EACH OTHER UP AT JESUS' BIRTHPLACE

Nothing much has changed there them LOL, I found this story on the news and just had to save it here LOL.

A fight has broken out at the church built on the spot where Jesus is said to have been born.

Palestinian police stormed the basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem after rival groups of Orthodox and Armenian clerics clashed in a row over the boundaries of their respective ancient jurisdictions inside the church.

Armed with brooms, around 100 priests and monks came to blows during the cleaning of the church in preparation for Orthodox Christmas celebrations.

The former Palestinian minister of tourism and head of the Palestinian forces in Bethlehem were slightly injured.

WE COMPLAIN BUT THE BRITISH WAY IS TO SHOUT BUT DO NOTHING LOL

Take train fares, I have just seen this morning’s news and train fairs are being put up on an average of 6%.
.

The commuters are complaining but they will pay and the train companies know this and laugh at us, simple as.

The British way is to say stuff like "This is so unfair" as we do over things like the new fuel prices ,be it gas to electricity and we say this as we hand over the money LOL.

Another for instance

Swindon town centre and the council have just removed a perfectly good functional and free flowing roundabout and replaced this with a nonsensical new 3 traffic light and crazy new one way system .
.
Seemingly with the sole intention by way of it's anti common sense design to create all manners of new traffic jams and cost a fortune in fuel as we now all sit at all these new lights to get to the same place that the once simple roundabout took us trouble and traffic free LOL.

Enter stage left the motorist, we all scream and shout as we sit at the new mad lights and double back mini roundabout system designed to deter the motorist from EVER coming into Swindon town centre EVER AGAIN.

And what do we all do ? Yes we shout at the lights scream at the doubling back on ourselves and gesticulate to the other motorists as we try to console ourselves and hold hands in our common hurt BUT WE STILL DO IT you will still see us sitting at the new lights shaking out heads and waving our hands. LOL.
.

I was one of those motorists screaming with frustration at this new traffic causing system and I said this will drive people away from the town centre, then I saw with my own eyes, humans as angry as we got we all still sit like lemmings in the traffic yelling but still sitting in it LOL.

So to cut the story of the human race short, if we are not prepared to say NO WE WILL NOT PAY THAT TRAIN FAIR AND NO WE WILL NOT TAKE OUR ROADS BEING MESSED UP LIKE THIS, then we deserve all we get.

Best we just shut up and pay the dam fine or the new fuel cost and the cost of all the petrol trying to fight our way up the traffic stream and into town and just keep stoom as all we are doing is making ourselves look silly and the government don't care LOL they are making even more money out of all the new fuel we are using how dumb are we LOL..

Roll over pay the bills and fines and just shut up LOL

O yes and where is all this extra traffic coming from that the government keep saying the need to manage in this way ?

Yes the back streets, the all new one way systems are pushing all the traffic onto the main roads crating the biggest traffic trouble ever and then we say.

Yes to whatever measures the government bring in as we think they are going to make it better and all we are doing as motorists is yes like turkeys we are voting for our own Christmas LOL.

Then government purposely create the situation then get us to agree to there solution, like CONGESTION CHARGE LOL and O yes this one makes me cringe at how we have just accepted this RESIDENTS PARKING LOL where did this come from and why just like parking meters do we just accept it LOL ?

HAPPY OLD YEAR 2011 AND HELLO NEW YEAR 2012 TO MY GIRLS :-)

This is the last place on earth where I can still write in last year LOL for some reason my blog seems to run about half a day behind the rest of the planet LOL.

Yes it 07:49 on the 1st of January here in the UK but my Blog still has me in last year LOL.

But this means I can hang onto last year for that little bit longer.

This year was one of the best ever for me, I shared an art and photography exhibition with my daughters in February, we all went to California, I lost my job as our contract with B&Q was lost with Wincanton and we all moved with the job for B&Q over to DHL.

My mother moved to Hastings along with my Sister, Vicky left home to start University in Exeter Hannah past her G C S E's and moved from School to start at the Swindom Music Academy.

Hannah had her first gig in Riffs bar in Hook on the outskirts of Swindon towards The Royal Wooten Basset.

My daughters you make me so proud, I do not want to let this year go, my heels are dug in and my grip is tight but even by using my blog to try and hold on I can not hold back the hands of time though I try so very much.

Here the hands do not move, I can come back to this post and enjoy all over again this year with you.

I will never get over Vicky moving out or standing there watching Hannah sing on stage at her first gig, but in the same way I would not have it any other way as if I was to hold back the hands of time I would never reach those seminal moments.

It's progress it's life happening around me and me wanting both my daughter back in that buggy with me showing them the world will not make it happen, and I love seeing there own wolds unfold in front of me.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS 2011 HERE IS THE CHRISTMAS MESSAGE I POSTED ON FACEBOOK

04:30 Christmas morning, I have by wife and both my daughters up stairs asleep and all I can think about is we are all together and I love it.

I got up banged my head on the loft roof asked my wife to go back to sleep and went downstairs for a freshen up and have a lovely cool shower, then I drop my watch and in bending down to pick it up I bang my head on the bathroom sink.

I don’t care it’s Christmas and for me it’s about the words in a card more than the wrapping paper I am about to tare limb from sticky tape.

I can’t help but think that one day soon the gift of Christmas giving and receiving of that special gift will change from being a wonderful feast of the many gifts to just a simple one little something.

The age of plenty has gone it’s true but I think the people value more the sharing of one another’s company and the warmth of the personal Christmas message in the card more and more as time rolls on.

The giving and receiving of gifts is great and much fun but it’s ever increasingly difficult to know what that little something is that a friend or loved one would wish for for themselves.

So I would propose a one gift and more novelty for fun as this will bring more smiles and go some way to eliminating the worries over was what you bought going to be well received.

Then we can all get on and spend the day unwrapping the most precious gift of all, friendship love and good company.

As a child I never felt that there were people you hated the company of, I was sometimes in the company of people who were indifferent to me, but as we seem to have developed more and more there is a new zero tolerance evolving of other human beings there traits there personality even there opinion's a position of which is alien to me.

Don’t get me wrong there are people I would not invite myself over to for Christmas, but then Simon Cowl would not ask me anyway and to be honest if he did I would go and sill have fun.

So in closing we are all only here for such a short time, enjoy one another love our friends and be friends with our loved ones, and try to understand those who do not like us.

After all it’s not their fault they do not understand us and perhaps they are just in need of a little understanding themselves.

You can’t make everyone like or love you, but you can love life and not let those who would do you down bring you down.

O M G I love Christmas for being purely and simply just a time of sharing one another’s company, anything else you want to bring along to the party is all good.

MARK FORSYTH’S BOOK TITLED ETYMOLOGICON

O M G they have been reading this on the radio at night and it’s fantastic, I am totally stunned at the wealth of information it gives out in every sentence.

Every other word is a revelation and I am totally distraught when the 15 minuet BBC radio 4 segment is over, I want more and I know I the only way I am going to get more is if I go and buy this Marks book.

A total quality 15 minutes of my life very well spent listening to this and there are not very many of late BBC radio 4 readings I would say that about.

For instance the book the BBC have just finished on the origins of font, yes the font you use in writing that font, well to say I have never wanted to rip the radio out and sling it so much in my life would be an understatement.

But for the first time it actually forced me to change channels and return after that segment had finished, yes I would rather and I did go listen to 15 minutes of tranz ? house dance music on BBC radio 1 than listen to one more sentence on the origins of the font LOL

DO ROBOTS DREAM OF ELECTRIC SHEEP

They were still talking about how difficult it is to define what is a robot on the radio tonight.

They were talking about this a week ago LOL but it seems to be throwing up some curves as the debaters seem to be stuck when it comes to the subject of consciousness in robotics.

Well it’s as simple as this; everything that can be programmed is a robot, from a toaster to a missile are all robots and this throws up a conflict in Isaac Asimov’s three laws of robotics.

These being

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

And the conflicts are.

A missile is a robot and that is being programmed by a human to kill other humans, any programmable device from hardware to software comes under the umbrella of robotics, yes even your washing machine :-)

Just because it does not smile at you ( YET LOL ) nor have arms and legs does not make this a non robot.

I understand weapons manufactures will argue the case against every programmable weapon being a robot but that does not make them right, it just goes to in force how powerful the weapons industry is that no one can stop them from breaking the robot laws in this way.

Now a robot that has consciousness is a different matter, this should come under a life form but it will need to be able to demonstrate that it is alive first.

The robot will need to demonstrate that it has real emotions free from pre programmed responses, but then who is to say that our emotions are not just pre programmed responses ?

Agh but I think I have the answer.

If the robot can free think and create something from nothing, an idea an emotion a poem and then explain it then I think that robot deserves to be called a life form.

VIRUS

Amazing program on the radio last night, the naked scientist on the BBC's 5 live early morning slot around 3 am I think..

There was a question about viruses and why do the attack and in some cases kill their host.

The short answer as far as memory serves me was this.

One of the oldest viruses known to science is a strain of the herpes virus; I know how scary that sounds but apparently there are different strains of the herpes virus and the naked scientist on radio 5 live said that 80% of the planets population harbour this ancient mouth ulcer strain of virus.

THE NAKED SCIENTIST IS JUST THE TITLE GIVEN TO THE SEGMENT ON THE BBC RADIO 5 LIVE RADIO PROGRAMING...LOL I JUST HAD TO MENTION THIS IN CASE YOU WERE WORRIED ABOUT MY LATE NIGHT RADIO LISTENING HABITS LOL.

Anyway this particular strain of the unfortunately named Herpes virus is the one that causes mouth ulcers and it lays dormant in the body and has done for thousands of millions of years.
.
Then when it wants to it comes to life and in a self preservation process it causes the mouth ulcer in order to transfer itself to another host to insure its survival.

This is one smart virus.

Then the naked scientist said that there are other viruses that run a more use up trash and move on, approach these viruses are not out to kill their host just strip mine them and move on and that’s why they are infectious.

The thing I found fascinating about that is that they multiply and infect, they are not worried about individual virus cells.

It’s not like as if each virus cell was as important to themselves as a human is to us, they honestly will leave some cell soldiers in the dying body and not like the US army have to go back for them o no they will evacuate if they can by infecting another hose but those left behind are just left behind.

The ones left behind will still be alive and will try to host jump, and that’s how the plague became so virulent, upon death the virus would evac and the doctor was normally the closet new fresh host to inhabit.

All fascinating to me, especially the non self conscious and yet determined virus is bizarre and needs more research.

What if anything is it thinking ?

What is its motivation ?

Can you re program it ?

So let me see if I can get this right :-)

You are still putting biodegradable food stuffs in the hole in the front of my face to sustain the body, how weird is that ?

Then, and this is just gross, you have to go to a small room where you ( and this is all so bad that you do this in private ) take down your clothes exposing your nether regions to enable you to pass stuff from your bottom exhaust.

Like actually eject some sort of bi product from the process commonly known as feeding your body :-0

I can not believe your all still doing this, the sooner you get that sorted out and stopped the better, you are only a few thousand years behind on that one...

And then it gets even worse.

Is it true that when your body stops in something you like to call died that you either burn it or bury it ?

So firstly you let your body deteriorate and fall into a state of disrepair.

Then when it stops you don’t bring it back to life you don't up grade it you don't find the fault and modify it nor do you move the data stored in it to another still fully functioning body.

O no, you either set fire to it or just let it rot in the ground, do you know what your doing to such an amazing piece of priceless bio engineering ?

JOHN TERRY TO FACE RACIAL ABUSE CHARGES

The Masked Writer says, hold your horses and look at the facts..

It’s as simple as this.

It’s not a question of did he say it, it’s a question of can you prove beyond reasonable doubt that he said it.

It’s also not a question of whether or not John is racist, it’s purely and a simply a question of what he said not his intentions or motives just the turn of phrase.

It’s the language not Johns conviction or motives as these can be wide ranging and can even be an endearing term when shared between friends but in this day and age its inappropriate to use anything that can be seen in public as a racist comment and so deemed offensive by others.

In my time serving as an harassment counsellor, harassment was simply defined as anything unwanted by the recipient, short sharp and simple.

Now this can be expanded to take into account of anyone not just the intended recipient of the comments but those in earshot too and that is what seems to be the issue and causing case to answer in this instance.

So unless there is quantifiable physical and producible evidence, I cannot see how you can lay a glove on John Terry.
.
However if an actual recording of John saying the things they say he said then I am afraid if I were John I would fess up pay the fine and lay low for a while.

.
The only other evidence that can bring a case like this before the beak is corroborated and multiple witness statement's, but even then a good legal brief would argue one person word against an others incentive and motive to lay these charges.
.

In saying that I would not lie down, I would explain what I said then apologise for the comments whilst explaining that they were not meant to be taken in that way.

Then whilst expressing an understanding that these times do not allow those once common comments to be banded around and I would also ask everyone to put them down as if I can be fined and banned for saying them then using them is not acceptable behaviour for anyone just the person in the doc.

Chelsea and England captain John Terry will face charges over allegations he racially abused another player.

The player will appear in court on February 1 following the decision by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Look Jeremy Clarkson only vocalised and polarised what the government were saying all along so why are some MP’s calling for him to be sacked ?

Just because the MP’s did not put it into those words does not mean that that was not what they were thinking or saying in a round about way LOL..

And an apology by Jeremy does not mean Jeremy has changed his position LOL it just means he had to say sorry for thinking it out loud LOL

Whereas the government skirt around the edges saying the same thing but just not by using the same words as Jeremy LOL go figure LOL.

It’s the same talk from the government they should be thanking Jeremy for helping them say out loud what they were having trouble putting into words LOL.

Me being union through and through am not surprised at this as its what successive governments have done to unions over the years, disassemble destroy undermine and marginalize them.

These are the names of just some of the friends we have come to know through the medium of sport and entertainment.

But the list is a long one this year should we add those loved ones close up to us and who live on this side of the silver screen.

I would like to say to all of those who have stepped outside the building and who can never be replaced, my heart wishes you all the peace comfort and tranquillity you deserve.

And to all of us remaining in the building I understand there is no comfort to ease the pain and though we may smile to ease the day our soul will forever be bruised and our hurt can have no sticky plaster.

But by remembering them those we cannot see will always be with us, walking Listening, Watching and Helping us.

YAHOO PUTS A SMILE BACK ON THE MASKED WRITERS FACE :-)

I am a happy Masked Writer now LOL, Yahoo have added a tab to my mail sign in home page, I use this as my main Yahoo home page.

The problem I was having was that I would switch my Yahoo page to USA as I live in the UK and I can get all the UK news I want this end but I wanted to open up my Yahoo and see what was happening in my friends world.

BUT LOL and here was the run every time I logged back in it had switched back to a UK home page AGHHH and then I the click was gone that allowed me to switch it back so I ended up switching my home page to another USA news page.

Now this was a pain but at least I got my fill of what was going on in the USA.

But life has just got a whole lot better, yes Yahoo has a new tab on the top of the page which lets juggle between the two should I feel a need to, well to be honest I just keep it set on USA as that's the news I am interested in and from a land I would love to live in.

So I thought being as though I went off on one LOL so to speak when Yahoo kept taking my USA news away I thought it only right and in the balance of fairness to shine a torch on it again now its back and all is right with the world :-)

When I think of you.

The last electronic heart beat,

My last breath was sure to follow.

A hand reached down from heaven,

And I stepped into the hollow.

Though the body I once occupied,

Has died and passed away.

My soul had long departed,

And is well upon its way.

The only thing that pain’s me now,

Is I have left you dear behind.

But it hurts to have leave someone,

So warm hearted and so kind.

But the world is at no loss,

As theirs new life to take my place.

Just a child’s first breath,

Will restore the human race.

I am the mind food come read me,

Your eyes are closed but you see me.

You feel my skin and your grip is tight,

But there is a crack in your eyelids and they let in my light.

Go ahead and scan my text,

For you might be what happens next.

Each letter you read adds flesh to my words and skin to my bones,

As you open my cover your food for my moans.

Don’t stop read on; read on, oh that feels so good,

I can feel myself take over you and you becoming me.

You have given me the strength and I can feel you flower,

A strange thing is happening to people I know,

At first they start laughing and then their minds go.

An incessant giggling’s the long road to doom,

TAKE THE BUTTERFLY

“Halt, who goes there,” I said to myself out loud, then I answered me in a soft loud slow dulcet tone type style of voice and said,

“Who goes were?” I surprised myself, as I was sure that I was the only one there.

“Do you want to ride my bike? and have you ever tried treading grapes while juggling.”

So surprised was I that I made my mind up there and then Never to buy those knobbly bits That taste of flat square circles ever again.

Why does my left hand keep coming up and smacking me in the gob? Still its dark outside and that’s the best place for the night to be.

So I sat very still while trying to balance on a moonbeam, and asked everyone I passed,

“Why are their feet going in opposite directions to themselves ? And why is my head on your body?

Wow what a night, still its early days but I think I have the answer, take the butterfly.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING

Shush be calm, it’s okay I’m right here,

You’re hugging my pillow and shedding a tear

You have my memory and I feel your heart,

Always forever till death do us part.

We’ll always have Paris and the empire state building

Watching the Bulls and the yankees out fielding

But there’s nothing like kissing and the shared living touch,

and the holding of hands that we loved so much.

“Ouch! That hurt, I’m not doing that again,” I laughed.

Now that I’m here I must ask, How the everything, and why the reason.

So I asked the question expecting an answer that may in some way challenge my intellect, when all of a sudden a voice spoke out in silence with eyes that would square the round.

“Always is a word that you should never use, And never means for now, Drink the lemon sweet words”.

I turned to walk away and find my thinking place, “Hay come back,” said the answer, a being of infinite wisdom.

It helps to think while standing on a rock of pure marshmallow, I tell myself this as I try to master the art of falling up.

“There is no use for the answer” I said, “if the question just ups and walks away,” ”okay listen and I shall show you”, said the answer.

Then true to her word she did, and as she finished her words swam around me like butterfly’s and books like birds got up and joined them.

“Look,” said I, it’s beautiful, it’s a bird,” then looking out over the sea of sky all of a sudden I knew, “So this is how the everything begun”.

The Mad Poet

The One

The poets gone mad ramparts stormed his mind has twisted head has turned bridges smashed and note books burned.

Padded white walls screwed down stalls, no place to run so they like to think, but lashing out I think a scream and use my thoughts like a laser beam, but though they listen they hear nothing and I break the silence with a blink.

They don’t see the mad poet jumping for joy inside himself, they don’t see the release, the ecstasy, but the mad poet for the first time in a long time can see the them.

I am in here but you are out there, and out there is a lot more dangerous a place to be than in here with me, thinks the poet, the poets gone mad I here you say, they look sideways but I can hear their eyes move in their sockets.

More books and opinions needles and the oh such bitter sweet twisted use of the nations electric power sauce, feed me; if only you knew.

If only you; ugh there you go again trying to burn away parts of my memory but those parts left some time ago, you can chase them around me but you will not find them in here.

Go ahead twist some more light me up and watch, strap me down and switch me on’s like slamming fingers in the draw, understand I’m not complaining as I’ve been in this place before.

But don’t stop now you’re having fun and were only half way done, don’t mind me I’ve played before but by harsher rules and with twice the tools that only mad poets can in the one’s cave find.

I see me through your eyes and I don’t know me anymore, the poets gone mad, my walls have been breached my defences stormed my bridge is in tatters and my troupes are all scattered.

But you didn’t see was the fight, a fight that saw doves cover eyes and angles drew drapes across the skies, yes it was a battle true and for my scars I have you.

I have been in such a war and a war that even the gods refused to score, but now it’s silent except for the sound of heart pumping blood out on to the ground.

From one knee I rise again shake my hair bellow to the sky, perforated but not defeated I have risen from the world below.

Alive I cling to the poet’s standard of a poet’s pen resting on the forever-clear paged book of works yet to be penned, and using my sword I pull myself up and look deep in to the clear blue sky.

I have been to the place of poets, writers and artists, and returned, in this place I met the one, and I fought it and I am here your now mad poet for my troubles.

I have survived where so many have fallen before me, and I have seen off my attacker, the poets gone mad, I smile as I here you say this and I can only say that you will need this mad poet one day very soon.

You will call to this mad poet’s name and ask this mad poet to write the book that you will need to repair the damage that this mad poet who in his battle to survive had to unleash on you the reader; the one.

Holding Hands

Summer leaves on autumn trees,

Wave to winter winds on a summer breeze.

Vivid red and shining in the summer rain

The red leaf asks a squirrel for the green leafs name.

The squirrel darts back and forth all summer long

Carrying messages from leaf to leaf of love poem and song.

The leaves could see but where too far to touch

And even for the squirrel this was becoming too much.

As autumn fell the leaves made their plans

To fall together holding hands.

They had talked of touch of love and kiss,

So as they fell they could not miss.

The squirrel watched with shaking knees as the both leaves left their summer trees,

The word wizard

The word wizard weaves his whiley words,

And we believe the words he weaves.

Then with a silky pen and clever hands

He sets about his master plans.

To make a map; a treasure map, and he leads me to a place,

Where stores are islands and x marks the spot in advertising space.

Its time he smiles; time to begin with wand in hand he scratches chin,

Then with wizard words and bikini eyes he blurs the lines between risk sin.

Then as the wizard weaves for us a sticky world of wants,

We lose ourselves our minds and eyes to the wants the wizard weaves.

He reaches me and touches me with wants I never knew existed,

He is the trinklet master my add candy man and cannot be resisted.

TIME

Time, a human invention if ever there was one,

Though tiss laid blame or credit at the foot of a Supreme Being.

Time a vessel in which to pour our lives,

Time is a skin a measuring stick.

A something to pit one moment against another.

Time is one man's perception of motion,

against one woman's perception of reality.

Time is a tool yet is used as a cage.

How lost would we be if all the clocks ticks ran away with the tocks,

If they pulled down the shutters and headed for the docks.

Time does not heal pain but pain respects time as a coping strategy.

If we all did today what we did yesterday only better,

We would have moved in time but backwards.

Time can't measure the kiss or be home to the beat of a lover's heart.

The hour hand bent over and lifted me up to a high place and said.

"Wrap yourself in yesterday plan for tomorrow but live for today".

"I can see," said I, today is now and here, and I am alive.

This here this you this is us, this second is now so now is forever,

and as for the tomorrow well, tiss said that tomorrow never comes

Waking up with you

I’ve ripped batteries from the clock and slung them to the floor,

I want this time to last with you a million miles and more.

As we snuggle up and touch we throw our cares up in the air,

Along with wishing hopes and dreams and perhaps some underwear.

Wearing nothing but the morning sun we lay starring at the ceiling,

Both holding hands and sharing dreams It’s one amazing feeling.

Magical Mystical history and mystery,

Painted and woven on tablets and tapestry.

TRYING TO BE HUMAN

Lost and confused

Punched and bemused

My wirers all crossed

And thinking has fuzzed

Humans astound me

With cry’s that surround me

As humans hurts humans

On the news and the TV

I think how many different types of people share my air

PEARL HARBOUR.... WHY ?

Why dress up as a tomato and kick a giant bull ?

Why when you are just about to win your ant on ant war would you go and pick on a dung beetle and invite it to join in and whoop you once winning ass ?

WHY is a question I was told should never be asked when I was studying to be a counsellor.

Well I can understand that if I need to travel from Hastings to John O’graots in Scotland that in a counselling journey the best route from A to B is not always to use the motorways’.

Yes you may get there quicker but what is there ? and what will there mean without the reason and knowledge you can collect on the way by taking the back roads ?

By taking the expressway you will end up with an answer but is it the right answer ? that sort of THERE is a glass one quarter full and three quarter empty.

But when it comes to history I want to ask the WHY questions LOL . like..

Why did the 7 7 bombing happen, these guys were prepared to give up the most precious thing on the planet LIVE without it nothing else can be accomplished and they did not tell anyone why they were going to do this ? How weird is that ?

AND SO THIS BRINGS ME BACK TO WHY PEARL HARBOUR ?

Yes why dress up as a shiny red tomato and go lick a sleeping bull ?

When surely anyone with any common sense would know that by doing that you have just signed away any chance of winning the war you were just about to win.

I am not a conspiracy theorist but I just want to know WHY and who would benefit from doing these things and the list is endless.

9/11 why when knowing your home land you children your wives girlfriends and familys are about to be made to pay for your moment of madness actions WHY would anyone do that ?

DAVID CAMERON’S PENSION STRIKE FIASCO

David Cameron keeps saying.

“We are in negotiations so why strike”

When in fact what is actually happening is Yes David Cameron is talking but telling the people what you are going to impose on them is not the same as negotiating with them LOL.

Who on earth is advising David about the real world LOL and what it’s like out here LOL ?

Then David Cameron and Harriet Harmen just now on the news are saying “The public sector pensions are better than those offered in the private sector”

Like that’s a good thing LOL I know my private sector pension pot has been wiped out and it’s not worth me starting all over again just for the government to put its hands in my pension pot cookie jar all over again LOL.

But trying to pit public against private is not the answer; I support the private knowing that I do not want them to end up with what a pension disaster we the private sector have been dealt by this government.

Besides that a pension contract is just that a contract and if I went to my bank and said.

“Look, here is the deal, I am now negotiating with you that means I am telling you what I am going to impose on you right. I ain’t gona pay my mortgage and I know it’s a contract and everything LOL but I have not had a pay rise for 3 years and the cost of living has taken up all my disposable income, so I am going to hack my mortgage in half so you will get less and have to wait longer for it too.”

What do you think my bank would say, as the bank bouncer was helping me to the door LOL and David Cameron is doing the exact same thing and all the unions are doing are gently showing him to the door ?

Same goes if I went to my car loan arranger and said the same thing,

David Cameron has totally lost all grip with just how bad it is out here, and to think he can dictate to us that he wants the working class to pay with our pension for the losses of the bankers and the rich young things is so sadly wrong.

How silly I sound and who am I kidding of course he can and he is LOL.

He is charging the bankers economic disaster to the working class's credit card and we are paying with no pay rises less in our pension pot and I will have to drive my truck till I am 67 God help everyone on the road LOL so we lose suck it up and keep trying to emigrate out of here LOL .

You know the saddest thing about all of this ?

The people wanted him to succeed where others have failed but he and the Liberal Democrats have not only failed but turned out to be even worse that anyone could have ever expected.

For me the sadist thing is this, I liked it when governments stood on a platform of we are listening to you and the party in government are not listening to you BUT WE ARE and the labour party are doing the same thing now BUT.

As soon as they get behind that huge black door of number 10 Downing street something happens and all the listening stops, is it that new advisors do not pass on the peoples messages or that they simply choose to ignore their electorates calling I do not know.

I am so sad about all of this but one thing it has taught me.

I am not going to blog on political subject anymore, no one is listening to the people the government do not care and all I am doing is whacking fog balls over a political tennis net where there is no player on the other side.

My opinions are not fixing the country and are only serving to cause me to worry about something I can do nothing about, so I am moving on and adopting the American way.

Focus on me and mine, pay my bills and let the country run away with itself, vote tactically and live politic free.

There is nothing out there other than my friends and family, those I can do things about, and if the government will not listen to a billion strikers they sure as hell are not going to read my blog and see it as help and advice.

apparently the government do not want the UK economy to be based in retail, that means sales of goods and manufacturing.

Apparently they are trying to direct the country to a banking and money managing power house, now whats wrong with this picture and model ?

So if no one is selling and buying why would money need to change hands, goods and services are the fuel for that the money engine needs to drive it.

Then let utility companies put up their bills by inflation busting bank bursting budget destroying just plain greedy amounts.

Then put up the cost of vehicle fuel just enough to stop people traveling to the shops and just enough to keep the roads clear for the wealthy.

Add to this an eye watering rise in VAT

And that should just about bring your working class down to where you think they should be, struggling demoralized and penny less., after all you do not need them any more you have your banking sector.

But now surly you can't expect those same working class people to buy goods and services, with what LOL

Let along extras like pensions or to ever have something left to save is a non starter and if you can’t do that you can’t buy a new fridge or cooker or even shoes and that will stop any economy from growing.

I need a new fridge and Cooker but its about make do and mend now LOL, long gone are the days of new and or just fun purchases like computer's and this is what this Conservative government seem to want me thinks.

The Conservative Liberal alliance especially has tried to wipe the working class off the bottom of its shoe like we are a nasty old bit of dog do do and instead focus all its eyes and energy on the banking and financial sector.

Praising themselves up stairs on the top floor for their new found direction while awarding themselves insane salary’s that they have taken from the working down stairs on the shop floor.

Which the top floor never think they need and have tried to just factor all our income out of the economic machine, but you stop paying the people and the people can’t shop and if the people can’t shop any economic engine will run out of fuel, see its not rocket science.

And that’s exactly what has happened, all the working class are having to pay crazy fuel costs to ever greedy utility company’s which in its self is not bad but only if you pay the people enough to cover the bills.

But by keeping the money back from the working class spenders and then awarding it to the bosses you lose your economic fuel as the working classes will put the money fuel back into the economic fuel tank which will drive the growth engine the bosses will take it off shore or just sit on it.

And one person sitting on a thousand persons pay rise does not make any sort of economic sense.

It’s such a shame as it was easy to see this coming from as far back as the first stop on pay rise hit closely followed by the wave of pay freeze’s even pay cuts came in to effect and if you look back in my blog you can see the start of it all.

So if I could predict what going to happen 3 years ago and then the government still went on and continue to this day to slash the pay to the people with swinging tax’s and insane utility living costs then where are those people whose job it is to tell the government this is what is going to happen?

Where are the people who should understand that you need money to fuel the economy and if you take that all away by way of no pay rise that this is the inevitable consequence.

Surely there must be someone some place in a big office some where with a huge desk and a great view who understand this and if then is not HOLD THE LIFT and save that office for me LOL.

I would swap my dash desk and eight foot high truck chair and great view of the M1 for a job like that LOL.

Call me David Cameron and Angela I am on my way, cape in my case and common sense on my desk top.

If I can see what sucking all the money out of the working class was going to the economic engine of the country I should hope and wish that someone on a lot higher salary than a truck driver should have seen this one coming and have answers LIKE MINE or better LOL.

Look it’s as simple as this; a pension contract is just that, a simple contract.

Now if one of the party’s wants to break that contract and personally I do not think this should be allowed but okay for argument sake let’s say one of the parties wants to break that contract and it’s a worker and that worker wants more not less do you think the government would allow this?

I do not think so, so why just because it’s the government and they want to asset strip people pension should the people roll over and allow this.

If the boot was on the governments foot I am dam sure the government would not just roll over and let the other party in the pension contract break that contract in order to take away the pension age in which you can draw upon your pension and then strip it of its value.

Only in DAVID CAMERON’S head does this make any sense and are you telling me that even David himself if he was a nurse a teacher a local authority worker whose pension and retirement was going to be destroyed by this would not fight to stop it happening.

It’s funny how once you have crossed a certain threshold in the income stakes how you do not see the needs of the people dying at your feet.

I do need to add that the quality of the TV conversation and debates where union representatives are asked question like “why are you striking” is shockingly appalling.

Not one union representative has landed the big glove point punch on the government and in reverse I can see the quality in the points being pushed from the government.

Every point comes across as a big glove point hit in the face of the union and I just wish the unions would take a look at this and work on their TV presence and just for once MAKE A POINT.

They need to stop waffling and understand and take on board the “SOUND BITE”

TONIGHT ON RADIO 4

I was shocked while listening to tonight in parliament when a lord proclaimed that the public will not tolerate strike action.

Well I am the public and I whole heartedly support the right to strike and the strike action itself.

When will the government understand, the people do not want to strike, strike action is a last resort but when pushed so far that right to strike and the strike action itself has to be used even though you will lose money for taking that option.

I have been on strike with The Royal Mail over wages, and I lost everything I was going to get that year in the pay rise through the strike action but we could not just roll over.

When will the government see that a strike is more about face than money, now take this coming strike action, the government are taking away a huge slice of a person pension and they then say that’s the deal take it or leave it.

Where is the negation wiggle room in that, how can you sell that to your members in any other way than sorry guys the government are asking and calling us out on strike action for some strange reason known only to themselves they seemingly want this strike action LOL.

Who trained the government negotiators LOL O M G please call me in before it gets out of hand; you need someone who understands stuff LOL not no real life experience good on paper people LOL.

UNELECTED BEARCATS NOW RUNNING EU COUNTRY’S

This is a comment I just had to post on my yahoo news page.

We now have countries like Italy being managed by unelected bearcats where they were once governed by an elected house; I think this is what it’s all about.

Crash Europe and take over each country by toppling the elected and putting in place your people.

I can see this being borne out by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel's political party, which said.

Britain needs to stop "defending its own interests".

In other words pull down your flag stand down your elected representatives and let us board you and take you over.

Personally I am not happy just rolling over and giving England to Germany just because the German Chancellor Angela Merkel tells us to do so.

I think if the German Chancellor Angela Merkel wants England then she will have to take us by force, a bit extreme I know but we should not just give Germany the keys to this country.

If David Cameron does give us to Germany then I think there may be some people who would have a little something to say about that.

Personally I would like to see England cut the strings to the EU and either regroup with the Common Market, or better still attach ourselves to the USA by becoming a fresh new star on the flag and a new US state.

Don’t get me wrong I love the house of lords and the whole PM thing but that’s lost to the EU now, we talk but the EU tell us what to talk about and do then they take our money LOL.

So I propose we keep the Queen of course being a royalist that’s a given and I am sure America would find a way of accommodating a new state like England with all its PM’s and Royalty.

SURFACE TO AIR MISSILES

I heard on the radio last night that a leaked report from America expresses concerns over the British security plans for the Olympics.

So America are going to send one thousand F B I and C I A operatives to protect the American Olympic staff.

Apparently America have also told the UK to install surface to air missiles, GULP how bad does the president expect autograph hunting to get ?

So thems reasons enough not to come to England next year LOL, if I was thinking about coming to England for a holiday the thought of one thousand heavily armed undercover solders operating under diplomatic immunity was not enough to stop me then the chance of being friendly surface to air missiled out of the sky over London is just too great a risk to take.

I am confused; I thought we all knew that the terrorism the west has experienced was all staged, in order to allow the installation the draconian security checking measures.

Please don’t say that there are people out there who think otherwise, O M G governments have done a fantastic job if there are people out there who think it’s all real.

My main worry is that once people actually believe that stuff that you can’t show them the light, it’s a bit like religion, what they are told they believe as it came from the Bible and who would question the Bible or in the case of the terror incidents who would question the motives of the government.

I have to say that I am doing religion a serious injustice in my comments above, I have seen with my own eyes the good and positive effect religion through faith can have on people.
.
Many people of faith work tirelessly and selflessly giving themselves over to the betterment of others and I totally respect the people from all walks of life who come from every religion but who all share a common interest faith.
.
That something special that you cant get, you cant have it given to you and you cant buy it, its either in you or its not and I am envious of those who have it.

Back on the whole terror thing, sometimes it would be good to just look at the facts chase the money and think about the consequences of that terror action LOL see feel the fog lift LOL.

CAMERON’S COUNTRY

What a sad state this county is falling into and David Cameron can now stop pointing his finger at the labour party, you can only say look what we inherited so many times before it starts sounding wrong.

Just yesterday while living under the new liberal democrat and Conservative party rule in Clrg and Cameron country I have just received a letter of warning from my employer.

I had a verbal warning the other week for being 2 minutes late swiping in to my work station and just last week I was 1 minute late and so I triggered my letter of warning informing me that the next stage is a visit to the big office.

Born a love child of the sixties I started work from the day I was 13 working a paper round in the morning and evenings and weekends in a green grocers and my work ethic has always been to give more than the job asked for if you don’t want to get fired.

This has served me well until my new employer, I am always on site and CLOCKED IN at the gate at the very least 10 minutes before my official start time.
.
However by the time you walk the half a mile to the last clock in point I am guilty of being 3 minutes later in total over 5 months.

I can’t clock out late as we can be whipped and worked up to 15 hours a shift and we have no finish time and we are on a salary so why my employer should choose to take this Nazi style hard line is beyond all of us.

Needles to say I know I am for the big push, who would not be over 3 minutes O and it gets worse there are others in trouble for clocking in early.

The guys who totally love their job or were afraid of getting in trouble for being late come in half hour early to make sure they have had a cup of tea and a chat before they get started, all very sociable commendable and practical also great for team building.

However these guys have been ordered to stop clocking in early or they will be in trouble too, so it’s all catch 22, a no win scenario and the best we can make of it is the company are trying to push out full time staff in favour of a more agency staffed operation.

Surly no company would actually hold staff accountable to an exact start time, in all my years I have never heard of such a thing, this is like going backwards in employment history to slave labour.

This is no way to build good employee relations, all this action has served to do is stop the good will that helps the company run and force everyone to look for an emergency job for when we get fired over being 4 minutes late..

O HUM that's the new Cameron country for you O yes less we forget Cleg is also tied up in all of this too.

I WAS AMAZED TO DISCOVER THERE WAS A REAL CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG.

Here is the story, I just have to share it, it's that amazing, thank you internet :-)

Count Zborowski

Count Zborowski's early life was blighted by tragedy.
.
In 1903, his father was killed in a racing accident (it was said that his cufflinks became caught up in the hand throttle of his Mercedes during a hill climb).

Shortly after this event, in an aim to provide a stable background and good education for her son, Louis' mother Margaret decided to move to Higham Park, near Canterbury.

Within a year of the move however, she too had died leaving Louis an extremely wealthy sixteen year old with a burning desire to follow in his father's footsteps and become a racing car driver.

Higham Park consequently became the place where Count Zborowski, with the help of engineer friend Captain Clive Gallop, designed and built three aero-engined racing cars which became informally known as "Chitty Bang Bang".

(The origin of this name is not certain however it is thought derive from a bawdy World War One soldier's song.)

Chitty Bang Bang - Chitty 1

The first Chitty was a chain driven customised Mercedes chassis with a twenty three litre, six cylinder Maybach engine.

It was the first amateur machine to achieve celebrity at the Brooklands race track in 1921. Chitty 1 won two races in her debut appearance, reaching speeds of 100.75 miles an hour in the Brooklands Short Handicap.

Chitty Bang Bang - Chitty 2

By summer of the same year, Count Zborowski began building Chitty 2.

This model was similar to the first Chitty but had a shorter wheelbase, an early Mercedes chassis and an 18.8 litre Benz BZ series aero-engine.

This car was never as successful as its predecessor. It failed to make its mark at Brooklands but took part in several races and a Sahara Desert expedition in 1922.

Chitty Bang Bang - Chitty 3

This model lapped Brooklands at 112.68 miles per hour. It too, was based on a modified Mercedes chassis.

It had a 160 horse power Mercedes single overhead camshaft six cylinder aero engine and was tuned to produce 180 horse power.

A fourth Chitty, more commonly known as the "Higham Special" was the largest capacity (27 litres) racing car ever to run at Brooklands.

Its gearbox and chain-drive originated from a pre-war Blitzen Benz and it had a 450 horse power V12 Liberty aero engine.

This car was later purchased by racing enthusiast J.G. Parry Thomas who christened it "Babs" and used it to win the land speed record in April 1926 with a speed of 171.02 miles per hour.

Count Zborowski was an eccentric character who loved all things mechanical, owned a great many cars and enjoyed racing in America and in Europe.

In 1924 he joined the Mercedes team and was killed while participating in the Italian Grand Prix (He lost control of the 2 litre car he was driving and hit a tree at high speed).

He was only twenty nine. It is rumoured that,at the time of the crash, he was wearing the same cufflinks that brought about his father's death in 1903.

SMILE. Here is a for instance on my first visit to this planet as an alien game LOL, I had to go to my local post office to pick up a parcel that had been delivered a couple of days prior, but I was not home hence the please come to pick it up card.

Well I went to the post depot and I handed over my card which had the message on the back instructing me to give the post office 24 hours before coming to collect so LOL I said

“I can see the message about giving you 24 hours but there is no time of delivery on the card and I think I may of ran over the 24 hour period”

The lady looked at me sideways and said

“It’s just a rough guide not an exact time”

O M G it was fantastic the other people faces in the Q were all pictures LOL I got my fancy dress thunderbirds costume and left with the biggest Earth smile on my alien face LOL.

Well they should not say come back in 24 hours if they are not going to put a start time from when the 24 hour clock is going to start ticking from LOL.

SMILE. Perfume, when a lady walks past you and you catch her perfume O M G fantastic and almost as much fun as hearing her heals as she walks past you JUDDERINGLY EXCITING ; - )

Smile. Catching conversation as people pass you, its just snippets and I almost want to follow them to find out the rest of the story, all very exciting.

Ireland's Richest Man Now Bankrupt

The businessman, dubbed the "Mighty Quinn", was said to be worth 4.72bn euros (£3.7bn) at the height of his success.

An entrepreneur who was once the richest man in Ireland has declared himself bankrupt over debts of two billion euro (£1.7bn) to the former Anglo-Irish Bank.

Sean Quinn ran a multi-billion euro empire until it collapsed over the last two years due to massive, secret stock market gambles on the share price of the now nationalised rogue lender.

Mr Quinn said he had done everything to avoid bankruptcy, which was declared at the High Court in Belfast.

It must be totally amazing to have money in the bank, even £50 but to be rich is just something I know I will never experience, so to loose this safety net is such sad news and I am super sorry for this guy his wife and his children as it’s not nice down here.

When I think of what it must be like to never have to worry about the water bill as we are all now on water meters and just knowing that every cup of tea cost me 2p in water and every flush of the toilet cost me 40p so never to have to think about it must be truly amazing.

Never to have to worry about the gas bill and like us we do not turn the heating on anymore unless its just way too cold and your breath is making fog LOL.

The breath making fog is now the sign to have a little heating LOL but just imagine how it must be to not have to worry and just keep warm WOW one day I say to my children one day and we laugh under our one light bulb lit lounge as we have taken the second bulb out to save on electricity.

All this and I work LOL I work between a 9 and a 15 hour night shift, that's truck driving for you and all for the bills, long gone are the days of disposable income to buy fun things like new washing machines and computers.

I love to burn off MY OWN music on to a CD so I can take it up stairs and play it on my CD player while also recording that CD onto a cassette tape so I can listen to it in my car,

My car does not have a CD player, though it has been broken into and when they the thieves realised it was just the original AM FM radio cassette player they robbed me sun glasses broke the dash and left it damaged.

Still the radio and cassette works LOL well that was until I changed the battery and thanks to some strange security program that asks for a radio code I am locked out of my own radio LOL.

However the trouble is that VISTA burnt CD's will only play on my new WINDOWS VISTA program on my only computer what good is that LOL I can play the music on the computer why would I want the same music on a CD that I can listen to on the same computer LOL I think young master Gates has lost the plot a bit here me thinks LOL.

Anyway that's no good if I want to play those same CD's in any other CD player AGHHHH.

It drives me to distraction LOL, O yes and I can not even play VISTA BURNT CD's in my truck which has a CD player installed so its so cool to have a works truck that has a CD player but I cant use it LOL.

Boil the water in the kettle for eggs rice and pasta, its cheaper to heat a kettle of water than to waste all that gas boiling water on the stove. :-)

Take as many light bulbs out as you can, you don't need your house flood lit to get to the bathroom and most every movement around the house can be done on those little plug in night lights, they only glow but it's enough to see and move in.

Huge money saver, cancel all traveling and Holiday's, we have just wiped the calender clean for next year and plane to read a couple of books we have here and catch up on a couple of films we had to miss at the cinema.

Firstly I would re set the clock, write off all debt and start over.

Okay I understand this will not go down well with the banks who want their pounds of interest flesh, but thems the breaks.

Secondly if the banks won’t let you write it all off and start over then the only other alternative is to lend as much as anyone wants BUT do not add any interest.

No interest zero Zilch Nada diddly squat NOTHING, after all as the planet is crashing who keeps not only asking for it but then keeps putting up the interest ?

Who on earth is charging Italy over 6% interest ?

And why are you letting them get away with it ?

How can Europe kick countries like Turkey and Italy when they are down by lending at such an insane amount of interest ?

Why do that ?

Why put up the interest when you know if you charged just 1% you stand a great chance of not only getting your money back but you will get that 1% return on your investment.

But O no you charge over 6% knowing that will break the bank bust the country and implode the whole European project,,

WHY WHY WHY I keep asking myself this and the only real answer that makes any sense at all is because someone someplace wants the whole European project to come crashing down for a reason and in the mean time they want to interest rate strip mine Europe of any and all of its cash.

Brodie Clark, the senior civil servant at the heart of the scandal over relaxed passport checks, has made a direct attack on Theresa May, accusing the Home Secretary of misleading the public.

Mr Clark quit as head of the UK Border Agency’s border force and said he would lodge a claim for constructive dismissal.

Phew that must have been a close asteroid; here is what the worlds press were saying about it.

An asteroid bigger than an aircraft carrier will brush past the Earth within the next few hours

The 400-metre (437-yard) wide asteroid, called 2005 YU55, will speed past the planet at a distance of 201,700 miles - closer than the moon.

It Is our closest encounter with such a large space rock in three decades.

But Marina Brozovic of Nasa said there is no cause for alarm.

"It is not going to hit us," she said.

"We have a good idea of its orbit for the next 100 years and there is no chance of impact."

The asteroid was discovered in April 2010, when observations with the Arecibo radar telescope revealed a fuzzy image of the rock tumbling through space.

Nasa is hoping to take much higher resolution photographs of its dark surface as it passes by at 23.28 GMT time on November 8.

Amateur astronomers will need a six-inch telescope to stand a chance of seeing the asteroid, but have been warned that it is moving so fast that it will be difficult to track.

Nasa has set up a near earth object programme known as Spaceguard to locate the estimated 1,000 asteroids and comets larger than 1km (1,093 yards) in diameter - large enough to cause mass extinction of most life on Earth.

We all know that the last few major earth quakes changed this planets orbit around the sun, so we are now in un charted territory with regards to everything from gravity climate and this planets now life expectancy.

Kilogram faces quantum diet after weight problem

The guardians of the world's most important standards of weights and measures have turned to the weird universe of quantum physics to try to resolve a dilemma.

To the bafflement of scientists, a cylinder of metal sitting in a closely-guarded strongbox that is the global benchmark for the kilogram is changing mass.

The enigma doesn't affect anyone who wants to buy 500-milligramme tablets of aspirin, half a kilo of carrots or a 50,000-tonne cruise ship.

But it poses a hefty theoretical challenge to physicists, and complicates the work of labs which need ultra-precise, always-standard measurement.

Since 1889, the kilogram has been internationally defined in accordance with a piece of metal kept at the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (known by its French acronym of BIPM), in the Paris suburb of Sevres.

Ninety-percent platinum and 10-percent iridium, the British-made cylinder was proudly deemed at its founding to be as inalienable as the stars in the sky.

It is kept under three glass cases in a safe in a protected building, the Pavillon de Breteuil.

In 1992 came a shock: the famous kilo was no longer what it should be.

Measurements made over a century showed that the prototype had changed by around 50 microgrammes -- the equivalent of a tiny grain of sand 0.4 millimetres (0.015 inches) in diameter -- compared to six other kilos also stored in Sevres.

"Actually, we're not sure whether it lost mass or gained it," Alain Picard, director of the BIPM's Mass Department, told AFP.

"The change may be to due to surface effects, loss of gas from the metal or a buildup of contaminant."

The skinnier (or fatter) kilo became more than a scientific curiosity.

It is a bedrock of the International System of Units (SI), the world's most widely-used system of measurement units for daily life, precision engineering, science and trade.

The SI has seven "base units" -- the kilo, metre, second, ampere, kelvin, mole and candela -- from which all other units are derived.

But unlike its counterparts, the kilo is the last unit that is still defined by a material object.

There used to be a platinum ruler that was the world's standard metre until its role was replaced by a fundamental constant, the time that light takes to travel 100 centimetres.

The metal metre still resides in Sevres, but as a museum piece.

Moving at a pace best described as ponderous, the masters of the SI have now decided to phase out the kilo cylinder.

If all goes well, it will be replaced by a fixed value based on the Planck Constant, named after Max Planck, the granddaddy of quantum physics, who discovered it in 1899.

The Planck Constant, which uses the letter "h" in equations, corresponds to the smallest packet of energy, or quanta, that two particles can exchange.

On October 21, the General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM) agreed to use the constant to calculate the value of the kilo.

But adopting this "will not be before 2014," after experiments to assess the accuracy of measurement techniques to ensure accuracy to within 20 parts per billion.

If the Planck Constant is adopted, nothing in everyday life will change. The kilo will still be a kilo.

"However, the changes will have immediate impact in the excruciatingly accurate measurements carried out by highly specialised laboratories," the conference said in a press release.

A VERY PRODUCTIVE SATURDAY MORNINGS WORK

This is the sort of thing I do when I get home from a night on the road LOL

I e mailed the BBC radio 4 about joining a team of comedy writers.

I e mailed the BBC Radio 1 program in new DJs we trust about me getting a slot on Radio 1 as a DJ.

I e mailed the Queen just to say thanks for the stability and stuff like that.

U ummm let me see I think that was my mornings work..

O no LOL I almost forgot LOL yes I e mailed my aviation jobs web site about a job at Heathrow.

I researched Jeanette Winterson after listening to her auto biography read by her on radio 4.

I also researched Sandy Toksvig as I love the BBC radio 4 news quiz ( TANFASTIC ) and I wanted to see the face behind that fantastic voice loaded with its sharp wit and backed up with quality diction.

O yes then off to do the same sort of research about Anna Funder, mind you her all that I am story is shockingly sad.

NEWS ON PENSIONS ROW TAKEN FROM MY YAHOO NEWS PAGE, LOVE IT THANK YOU.

This week public sector union Unison voted to strike on 30 November.

Their 1.1 million strong membership includes dinner ladies, bin men and nurses who will be joining the members of other unions like the Public and Commercial Services union, Association of Teachers and Lecturers and the National Union of Teachers on the day of mass action.

Not all members voted to walk out, but across all the organisations the number of ordinary people who are going to lose a day's pay is much higher than the number who think spending billions on another Greek bail out is a good idea.

The strike on the 30th is about public sector pensions.

The coalition is raising the retirement age to 66, introducing a contributions increase of 3.2% and linking pension increases to the CPI rate of inflation, not the typically higher RPI.

This benefit is now being used by the government and elements of the media to divide working people.

"Those lucky public sector workers, their pensions are still more than you're going to get, what have they got to strike about?"

This sort of thing can work on us potless private sector workers who are sans-pension; preferring to rely on the Lottery as a financial strategy to avoid a dotage smeared in our own faeces.

Before being divided and ruled it may be worth thinking about who is blaming public sector workers: in an exclusive in 'The Sun' the Chancellor stated:

"To go on strike because you are being offered a better pension than your next-door neighbour at a time when maybe your next-door neighbour is facing losing their job is something that is very difficult to justify."

Firstly the paper's employment roadshow was called "Sunemployment", proving they are unable to write or do anything without making a lame pun out of it;

Secondly News International laid off the whole staff of 'The News of the World' making 200 people "Sunemployed" to save Rebekah Brooks, who subsequently got a £3.5 million payout from sugar daddy Rupert.

And lastly Gideon 'George' Osborne is sitting on a multi-million pound trust fund stashed by his parents Sir Peter Osborne, 17th Baronet and Felicity Alexandra Loxton-Peacock and so could give up chancelloring tomorrow with no money worries.

I would blame some public sector workers for the strikes though.

They take a month for summer and another month at Christmas and have lots of breaks in between, they have massive expense accounts so they don't have to spend their wages.

'The Guardian' says they: "…have among the most generous schemes in the public sector — they can contribute 11.9%, 7.9% or 5.9% of their £65,738 salary, with generous incentives. They still receive a final salary payout when they retire."

I haven't mentioned bankers and their mega bonuses yet as it just goes without saying how the people who caused our current predicament are all able to retire at the ripe old age of 32 safe in the knowledge their pension cauldron will keep them on the golf course into their 90s.

The same goes for company directors whose pay has soared during the current crisis, while they have relentlessly laid people off.

It's clear that ordinary working people aren't to blame for the strikes and that anger should be focused on the privileged elites who are claiming these cuts are necessary.

If there is to be a fully working integrated interconnected fully functional free open and honest euro zone these should all be the same right across the board.

Same pay for everyone doing the same job, a car worker in Poland should get the same wage as a car worker in Germany.

The same goes for reporters to directors there needs to be an identical wage structure right through the EU if it’s to work proper.

The coat of a tin of beans or a loaf of bread should be the same whether bought in Parris or the Czech Republic.

CHARGE

POUND LAND AND THE BODY SHOP SEND STAFF HOME FOR WEARING A POPPY

This is a massage I left in response to a facebook post stating that Pound Land and the Body Shop sent staff home for wearing a poppy.

I am so sorry to hear that the retail outlets Pound land and The Body shop have chosen to send people home for wearing a poppy.

Whether or not you believe in the sentiment around the wearing of poppy’s its the thought that money raised from poppy sales is in the memory of people who gave their lives under orders for their country and for the needs of the survivors who need our help today.

Freedom of expression is just one of the things those soldiers fought for and I will be expressing mine by choosing not to shop in those stores this Christmas.

A poppy is a simple symbol that says I care about the fallen the lost the survived and those trying to heal, it’s not a position on the political aspects of the war.

A poppy is a tear for the people not a show of hands for the decision.

After all I am not in favour of war but I have lost so many across so many wars and I wear a poppy every day in my thoughts for them, my family not the decisions that took them away from me.

I personally will VOTE with my feet and just politely avoid giving those who victimise those who care a little time to re think there position.

Not spending money seems to be all so many shops care about these days...

MAKE DO AND MEND TIME

I am in need of another car desperately, the MOT said my car will need so much done to it for the next MOT that I should think about scrapping it and getting another.

However in these troubled times its got to be all make do and mend, so up the breakers to get the parts to keep my old faithful 1997 Ford Mondeo on the road.

I found over at Rayner's breakers in Royal Wootton Basset a very sad looking Ford Mondeo ST24, same age as mine and looking so sad I just had to help it, so I took some of its bits home to fit to my car.

I have just fitted the new parcel shelf and my Mondeo feels faster loved and happier already, putting the new gear knob on tomorrow, the MOT stuff Ill do the weekend LOL..

The new bits are getting along great with my car, some of them are from the same factory and have so much to talk about :-)

But now we can’t even survive, the bills take every penny, so no money to buy nothing is being bought, no decorating stuff no novelty and Christmas present stuff nothing in general we are all having to make do while bosses are laughing all the way to the bank,

SIMPLES MATH, No DISPOSABLE INCOME,equals nothing being bought, nothing being bought equals nothing needs to be made to sell to the old buyers, equals no orders from sellers and finale the economy slowly grinds to a halt.

O yes and when I say bosses save it they don't even keep it here they mostly send the money to a bank in another country, money that should have gone to give the real staff a pay rise..

After all without the staff there would be no company and without a director or two the staff would get a pay rise and the company would still be there.

You see The Government when you allow Directors to have all the money destined for the staff they just send it off shore and save the rest of it, they do not spend it, they don’t need to most have expense accounts for that LOL.

So bosses and directors start to spend the peoples wage rise money like the workforce would your just sucking all the money out of the economy.

So the 20 to 70% pay rise group are economy negatives, sort of like black holes, non beneficial to the economic machine.

By all means we should have bosses, that goes without saying however they should not be allowed to just suck up all the company asset and peoples pay for themselves.

I remember this one party ( 1981 or 1982 ) it was while I was living in Hastings me and G was at this fantastic party hosted by two lovely lady university teachers and being sort of the cool Farley’s Rusk eating music gurus we were invited LOL.

Righting off some debt here a third world country’s debt there and a little off the banks everywhere is not a realistic fix so we need strong leadership who will re boot the whole EU zone.

O yes and if I was a bank boss I would be running for the hills right now LOL, fancy buying Greek government debt bonds when was that ever going to work O M G LOL they should have called me I would have saved them trillions..

O M G the Conservatives promised the people on a CAST IRON PROMISE that if they were voted in they would give the public a referendum on the EU and the first opportunity they have they pulled the plug on it and us.

If you was one of the voters in favour of the European union this must be as much as a shocker to you as it is to the non European union flag wavers.

TO LET IT SNOW OR WIND, THAT IS MY KING CANUTE DECISION LOL

Ever since I have been driving H G V vehicles I have wished away the high winds as that means I have to slow down LOL.

However I discovered after listening to a program about the weather on the radio some months ago that if we do not have the high winds in and around March that this is a precursor for heavy snow fall that winter.

Now I hate driving in snow even more than I hate driving trucks in high winds, don’t get me wonky LOL .
.
I love snow if let’s say you’re sharing the view from inside a Swiss log cabin lost some place high in a snow field with a member of the opposite sex a bottle of something bubbly ( white not red LOL ) some strawberry’s a jar of chocolate body paint a huge log fire and a giant woolly fireplace rug.

Yes anyway LOL .. But driving for work in snow means I have to slow down even further LOL BUT O M G then it accrued to me I have been willing the high winds to stop and inadvertently allowing the snow in to fall.

VERY MANY YEARS AGO A FRIEND OF MINE ONCE SAID TO ME, "

"GOD MARK I'M SO BORED, DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT LIFE"

So I set about trying to help my friend by putting the big question (what is boredom ) to some very famous people in the hope there answers would help me to help my friend best understand what boredom is and how to fix it.

So here is that big question with answers from some big people

I set about putting this collection of thoughts and answers together in a book for my friend.

But first here are a couple of things I have been heard to say about myself in connection and all be it a very tenuous link to the comments from my friends as mentioned above LOL:

"Boredom is a state of being that I have rarely had time enough to enjoy myself, nor have I had sense enough to know if I was there yet or not"

"If I had two good brain cells and they by some amazing coincidence bumped into one another I doubt they would even make a good spark. " ummm that was a random thought if ever there was one LOL moving on shall we LOL

I love my personalized made up quotations, and here is another comment from another friend of mine while making light of my not having suffered the pain or plague of a headache, his comment to me was as thus.

“Well, the reason you do not suffer from headaches Mark is because you need something up there TO ACHE” LOL

A comment and a state of being I still enjoy to this day, having not yet to suffered from a headache.

But let me get back to the point of this piece.

I used an old "Jedi" writer’s poetic license (wink) trick to ask some special people how they dealt with boredom.

I asked Vincent van Gogh " Yo What colour is boredom Vince ?"

I asked Lord Thomas Horatio Nelson for his thoughts on boredom and he said..

"Goddamn you man, what a foolish question to ask an officer in the fray of battle !

I shall answer your question but only after this days war is won, the cannons silent and our colours run high, at about ten o' clock."

I asked the account Manager for American Express how she deals with boredom.

And you know what she told me ? well she said and I quote

"I hold the cure to boredom in my purse and you too can hold it to but you need to skip the small print and tick the I do box first and boredom will be a thing of the past as you start collecting debts for the future."

J. A. Cadbury jumped right in and told me that if it were not for boredom he would not be where he is today and could he interest me in a little something with a soft centre..

I asked Marcel Marceau to do a boredom mime and he did and it went like this

Over hearing my mime with Marcel was Confucius who always has something to say about everything and he put his two pnenith in saying.

"From what you tell me of your time a person must really have to work hard to get themselves in the state known as bored and for this a person can only be respected for being able to conjure up this medieval feeling and wallow in its resonance."

and that was Confucius for you, no real help but a lot of gibberish LOL, I guess it could have been worse he could of gone on about many hands making light work in a theater where the lights had all gone out.

I turned to my mirror and asked The Masked Writer to which I received the most wise wisdom and council fit for King Solomon’s auto q itself..

"Boredom” I said “is an interesting concept”.

“Time far from curing boredom only seems to increase its intensity with its endless opportunities, the recipe for boredom seems to be one human, add limitless potential, and then dip that person into the sauce of endless opportunities”.

Then sprinkle them with multiple choice and stir constantly in ever changing directions and then remove imagination add some TV and Video games and this seems to produce the byproduct that is Boredom..

Einstein once said to me on the subject

“I have a boredom equation, its boredom = rest and no activity, or was it rell and no ativity or just relativity o no I’m confused now I’ll have to go back to the drawing board”

NOT SO MUCH DEPRESSION AS BEWILDERMENT

Upon my arrival at work last night I was called into the office for a chat with the boss, I was duly informed that I was 2 minutes late last Wednesday; our card swipe system had flagged this up.

So I laughed and said..

"Well yes but what are you saying",

To which I received the answer.

"I will be being deducted 15 minutes pay for ever lateness "

Apparently him being my manager had been instructed to inform me of this.

A gasp I stepped back,

”But we are salaried” I exclaimed and continuied..
.
"So if I am 2 or 22 minutes late at the start of my shift It must follow that I will finish 2 or 22 minutes later at the end of my shift".

A simple equation I thought however it would appear that my company does not see it the same way as I do LOL HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT LOL.

And so it is that I will be being deducted 15 minutes pay for 2 minutes lateness, however here is the rub.

They have information that puts me swiping into the works car park and so entering the site at 17:50 and my shift start time is 18:00 so I was 10 minutes early.

Then at 17:48, I swiped and past through the gate from the car park thus entering the grounds where they then have me swiping into the main building propper at 17:46...

Now between myself and the next SWIPE POINT which it at the south of the building and a 5 minute walk there are lots of people to say hello to and so it would appear that I was 2 minutes late arriving at that last checkpoint but AT ONLY THAT ONE LAST SWIPE POINT.
.
No regard is being taken of all the other checkpoints showing that I was not only on time in the building I was in point of fact early GO FIGURE LOL.

2 minutes late and I am bollocked by the boss, in 8 years I have not had a bollocking nor have I had 15 minutes of my pay deducted.

Dam and blast, please excuse me I don’t think I’ll be blogging for bit, wounds to lick and job hunting to be done..

In my bollocking I made mention of all the times I am early of some 10 minuets upwards and even finishing later than my time sheet suggests and I said they could just take a couple of minutes off of one of those times that I have in the bank.

No it was not to be, There is no time in the bank no account of early is taken and I was told in no uncertain terms that any time in my favour does not count, its all one way .
.
Governments wonder why work is not a passion anymore its truly just a slave master relationship all over again :-(

TO STRIKE IS THE INALIENABLE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW ONES OWN LABOUR

AND THEY ARE SAYING ON THE RADIO, IS IT RIGHT PEOPLE SHOULD STRIKE!!!

O M G is it right, IS IT RIGHT ? Yes it’s right it’s our only right and we are being question as to whether or not we should use it and the government are trying to put the frighteners on people who feel a need to strike.

No strike action is taken lightly, the government have it all sown up now anyway, as unions have to give notice of a strike giving the company plenty of time to employ agency staff who do not mind breaking a picket line.

Anti strike campaigns are deployed, this is where government ministers call into question the morality of their striking actions.

Using terms and phrases designed to aggregate the public’s sensibility’s to manufacture the gush of comments like, “I don’t think it’s they strike” and a torrent of other such comments.

It’s quality government marketing and news broadcasting too has become detached for their non bias position and the turn of phrase and question has taken a sinister turn in favour of the government’s position and that is..

Whip the buggers, get them back to work, let’s talk yes but you have to agree with what the management propose as there is no alternative.

SO WHAT’S THE POINT IN TALKING if the management do no listen ?

So yes that’s when a strike is needed, it’s an essential part of negotiations and fundamental right SO YES WE NEED TO HAVE THE RIGHT AND THE ABILITY TO WITHDRAW OUR LABOUR.

PENSIONS

The government are slapping themselves on the back for postponing the hike in the age in which woman can draw on there pension, saying..

"Yes this move is going to cost the government billions of pounds but we believe its right to do this so women who are about to draw on there pension are not disadvantaged"

On the face of it a very noble statement, however and here is the caveat..

The trick in the sentence is the phrase "going to cost the government" this means that the government and they admit this themselves are going to save billions on pensions pay to the elderly.

Now I am no rocket scientist nor do I profess to be a mathematician but I do understand that there is no such thing as free money and what the government seem to be implying is that they cut and they save but there is another corner to this free money triangle.

YES THE PENSIONERS.

If the government are saving it has to be coming from somewhere and yes that NEW FUNKY FRESH FOUND FREE MONEY THE GOVERNMENT ARE SAVING IS OUT THE MOUTHS AND POCKETS OF THE RETIRING THE ELDERLY THE PENSIONERS.

The people unable to take on a Jarro style march, the people who will just have to sit at home and switch the heating off, NOT DOWN, OFF..

These career politicians have no idea what its like living out here in the real world on at best 14 k a year and year on year out no pay rise when everything is going up..

So the government free money, there amazing new found savings is being robbed from the pensioners, wow I could do that, if that's all it takes to balance the budget I could hack and slice money of the already impoverished LOL that's just easy.

Here are some real ideas, and remember you heard them here first LOL Masked Writer style LO.

Cut all wages down so NO ONE can earn more than 50 thousand pounds after all how can anyone need more than 18 thousand to live on, I am on 26 for driving a truck so 50 is more than enough and the rest gets paid into the Government pot.

Turn off all motorway lights at night, electric bill saving

Turn off all government building lights at night, yes even you Boris Johnson.

Turn off all vacant room lights at night from offices to shops.

Get back the UK's water and power and make then NON PROFIT ORGANISATIONS just look at who these are being run for now yes share holders and they are making profit HOW CAN THAT BE RIGHT?

How can you make a profit off of life essentials that's just immoral..

Now who in the world does not make mistakes ?

I know I would have no management teem by the time I got to work if going was the rule of thumb here, I admit that a mistake that's costs the company or country must have some consequence's but lets take a look at the fact here.

But it was handled poorly as soon as the news broke Liam knowing the facts you could have taken the press by surprise and put out the fire and just stood down.

I AM SO PROUD OF THE JOCKEY STRIKERS

I am so proud that the jockey's are striking over still being allowed to CAIN, WHIP BASH, STRIKE AND ABUSE the horse they are riding.

.
After all said and done would you bash a new born baby with the same whip and with the same intensity ? and if you did how long do you think that baby would last ? and it's credit to the Jockey's that they realise this and want to stop the practice.

I hope the Jockey's get a fair hearing and these out of date and abusive practices are BANNED outright,.

Totally fully and forever, saving horses from ever being whacked beaten cained whipped and abused ever again..

Power to the horses and to the compassion and caring of the Jockey's who are putting there salary on the line to save horses from this this whipping abuse.

I am amazed it has not been banned sooner, after all who in there right mind would ever even wish to whip such an amazing animal as a horse and just imagine using the same whip and force on a new born baby .

It also just can't be right and in a world of health and safety how comes this has gone on for so long should a this practice of whipping ANYTHING be allowed in this day and age ?

I have just seen the news and it appeared to look like the Jockey's are striking for the right to bash there horses with the whip MORE NOT LESS.

That image of using the horse whip on a new born baby keeps popping into my head, how must the horse feel and I don't believe anyone who says O the horse doesn't feel it are wired up right themselves.

Surly I must have heard that wrong, surly, ignore this bit I must have miss heard the news item no human being would willingly inflict this on a new born baby or a horse.

Just a thought what if NO ONE was to whip whack beat Cain and abuse there horse ? I think that would not disadvantage anyone as everyone would be riding on a level playing field no bonus points for the rider who can whip punish and cause the most amount of stress out of there horse

MY FIRST EVER CAR ... A RELIANT REGAL MINE WAS DARK BLUE

I bought it when I was 16 and working as the manager for Jones's greengrocers Billet Road Walthanstow London E17 for £30 and it came with a spare engine as the one in it did not work LOL.

I called my father up and said

“Hay dad I have bought a car, now it works but it just needs some work to help it to work and it comes with a spare engine LOL

It was a reliant regal and here are a couple of photos I found, not of my personal one once again I am looking for photos but it was such a long time ago and I don’t hold out much hope LOL.

So courtesy of the amazing world that is the Internet here are a couple of photos of the make and model O and mine was dark blue..

So many stories, I learnt to drive in this as my father pushed me backwards down a hill in the field that is now a housing estate just over the road to our house in Durban Road Walthamstow.

We were trying to bump start the car, we had just fixed the engine LOL and now I was hurtling down a huge hill backwards in a three wheeler car LOL I don’t mind telling you I learnt to drive pretty dam quick LOL.

The driver’s door had no driver’s window in it so I took out the one in the passenger’s side totally demolishing the passengers door in the process but I thought hay I don’t sit that side so that’s not a problem.

However when I tried to fit it in the driver’s side I soon realised and this was after demolishing the driver’s door too that the window form the passenger’s side is the wrong shape and curve to fit in the driver’s side LOL..

So now I had no windows and now no doors and so I drove mine with no doors on it at all, hay if I had of ever been stopped I would have got that police person a pay rise and promotion.. LOL

O boy thems were the days and I miss that car LOL
